2017 Sectional Champions

I am very proud of my girls.  It was a very exciting year and for the 2nd time in 29 years the Portage High School Girls Tennis Team has a sectional Championship.

I am very proud of my girls.  It was a very exciting year and for the 1st time om 29 years the Portage High School Girls Tennis Team has a sectional Championship.

 

The senior’s 1-6, 6-3, 7-5 come-from-behind victory gave Portage a 3-2 team win and its first sectional title since 1987. It’s also my first trophy in my 13-year career.

 

“I had 146 wins before this match, and I finally get a sectional,” “This is why I came to Portage. It’s amazing … this is a great day. We have been talking about this all season.”
